VISION
8 years ago, avanti! was founded in cooperation with the European Commission as a fair for jobs, education and career abroad to promote the cultural exchange in the EU and worldwide. Ever since the avanti! is a steadily growing meeting point for pupils, students and young professionals who want to know more about the manifold opportunities how to get in touch with people all over the world. Especially in view of the European Unification process, cultural exchange was never as important as today. Therefore we want to help the next generation to get ready for a common Europe with different languages, cultures and ways of live. Our main focus lies on people between the ages of 15 – 30 years who wish to gain experiences abroad.
Avanti alludes to the EU, but also provides information about global opportunities of learning and working.
Young people should see a stay abroad as a chance to learn foreign languages, to meet other people and to improve their professional qualifications.

On the ground of our music, we get around and travel a lot. Especially the oversea gigs are of particular interest. Thanks to our diverse knowledge of foreign languages, it is possible to dive deeply into the particular culture and to come in contact with locals. Foreign language competence is an important requirement to discover another culture – some of us had worked for some time in different countries. Jump at the chance and participate at avanti!
